The HVIP Model
Hospital-Based Violence Intervention Programs (HVIPs) serve individuals who present to the hospital with a violence-related injury. This nationally-recognized model relies on the collaboration of hospital staff and community partners to provide holistic, wraparound care. In doing so, HVIPs promote recovery and wellbeing, while working to prevent repeat violent injuries.
Life Outside of Violence is one of 40 HVIPs across the nation and a proud member of the Health Alliance for Violence Intervention (HAVI)
